The sickness...

It finally got Kate. She is usually so healthy and sort of laughs in the face of anything that's "going around" but these past couple of weeks have been rough for our girl. Just before Christmas she developed a pretty nasty cold/cough that kept us up and gave her fevers/chills at night and actually caused a broken blood vessel in one of her eyes. She made it through Christmas like a trooper and seemed to be on the mend the week after. Then last Sunday right before she was going to go into her Sunday School class she started running a fever that lasted 4 days. Poor thing. She's never been this sick before and after a trip to the doctor we discovered she had a nasty ear infection. Fortunately she's back to normal, aside from the fact that after having been doted on for days, she's become quite accustom to having everything done for her.

So needless to say, we haven't much to blog about since we've been cooped up. We are enjoying the weather warming up, though, and made it down to the park a couple of days this week.
