Pictures...

A couple of weeks ago, after realizing I hadn't had Luke's one year pictures done, I took the kids to Target for some professional pictures. What a nightmare! Luke was not interested in the least and Kate, although very cooperative, kept giving the goofiest, fake smiles. Of course, despite my disappointment in how they turned out- not that they were terrible, just not as good as they could have been- I managed to spend a pretty penny on prints. We did get a few cute shots that I will frame and hang up. Here are some of my favorites...

A reunion...

On Thursday, we had a fun playdate with some BCHS girls and their kids. We met up with Rachel and Tandi at Krista's house and had a fun afternoon of catching up. I'm lucky enough to see Rachel on a regular basis and Krista on a semi-regular basis but haven't seen Tandi in over 2 years. And the four of us have not been together in one room in about 12 years. Between us we had 7 kids ranging in ages 2 months-4 years who played very well together. Of course, just as we're getting ready to leave because the naptimes are approaching as is meltdown mode, we have the brilliant idea to get a group picture. They were little troopers and we a got some pretty good shots. A really fun day...hopefully it won't be another 12 years before we do it again.
